About Us
Sally Taniguchi has been schooled in the Suzuki method since before she was 3 years old. She has progressed from playing violin, viola, and cello to specializing in teaching violin and viola to young children as a Suzuki Association of America registered violin teacher for Books I and II.
While at Northern Arizona University Sally played with the Flagstaff Symphony in the viola section.

Professionally, Sally currently plays violin or viola for West Valley Symphony & Musica Nova, and is frequently hired as a contract musician by churches and theater groups in the Phoenix Metro area. Sally has played in the backup quartet/orchestra for Jack Jones, Wynonna Judd, Rock Star Super Nova, and Frank Sinatra Jr. From 2001 through 2002, Sally worked at the String Shop of Arizona as a part-time stringed instrument repair assistant while completing her Associate of Arts degree, (with Highest Distinction and Honors 2002) at Glendale Community College, AZ. Sally’s concern for her instruments led her to pursue training in: Violin/Cello Restoration & Repair Bow Rehairing & Repair Violin Setup Sally is fortunate to be mentored Mr. Boyd Poulsen, Stringed Instrument Maker of Albuquerque, NM. |
